DURHAM, N.C. — Zogo Finance launched 9 new partnerships in November 2020, a sign of continued growth for the financial literacy company based in Durham, North Carolina. With the 9 new partnerships, the company now has 70 partners across 35 states across the U.S.

“Zogo is incredibly excited to continue to partner with financial institutions to spread financial education across the country,“ said Louden Richason, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Zogo. “Our growth is a testament to both the importance of financial education and the desire of financial institutions to engage with young people in an accessible and relevant way.”

These new partners include:

  • Del-One Federal Credit Union
  • Central Central Union of Florida
  • HFS Federal Credit Union
  • Bellco Federal Credit Union
  • TBA Credit Union
  • Sea Air Federal Credit Union
  • Utica Gas & Electric Credit Union
  • Gardiner Federal Credit Union
  • Carolinas Credit Union Foundation

Since launching in November 2019, Zogo’s gamified financial literacy app has gained nearly 100,000 users who have completed over 1,500,000 of the app’s bite-sized lessons in personal finance. As users progress through the app, they earn points — in the form of virtual pineapples — that can be redeemed for real-life rewards such as Starbucks, Amazon, and Walmart gift cards.

82% of Gen Zers are stressed about their finances right now,” said Richason. “We work alongside our financial institution partners to provide young people with a gamified tool that can alleviate some of that stress and actually make finance fun, simple, and social.”
